Tim Kreider, We Learn Nothing

For most of the Bush administration, Tim Kreider was a political cartoonist — chances are you probably saw his great piece, “The Busy Trap,” in your feeds last week. If you liked that piece, as I did, there’s a good chance you’ll probably like this book. Funny, thoughtful essays about relationships and the “insoluble problem of being a person in the world.” I recommend it.

Other great Kreider articles worth checking out:

In Praise of Not Knowing
The Referendum
My buddy Julien and I are actually headed up to the Dallas Museum of Art tonight to see Kreider give a lecture on George Grosz and political cartooning. Should be awesome.
