Ladies and gentleman, Better Book Titles.

“On A Calm Shore” poems by Frances Cornford, with prints by her son Christopher, 1960
The book used two- and three-colour prints with unusual colour combinations such as light grey with rust red and an inky purple with caramel and lime. Many of the prints used black ink to provide detail and pattern while the coloured layer provided texture and depth.
The book was inspiration for Faber Books’ new poetry hardback series.
The Whitsun Weddings by Philip Larkin published Faber Books and illustrated by Michael Kirkman
From a beautiful set of hardback poetry books from Faber Books!!
